Niola Etienne

Niola Etienne is a research associate for the Food and Nutrition program. In this role, she supports research translation and dissemination for advocacy efforts, including the development of research alerts and fact sheets. She holds her master's in public health (MSPH) in health policy and management with a focus on food systems and health finance from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, along with a bachelor’s degree in history and biology with a minor in Africana Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining the GHAI team, she conducted research on police violence and helped to compile a research and media database at Johns Hopkins. She speaks English, French and Haitian Creole.
