From ensuring that children don’t die from preventable injuries and disease to making roads safer, food healthier, and access to essential medicines easier, our work changing policies and increasing government investments in health has helped save lives and improve people’s health around the world. We partner with local organizations, advocates and governments to create and sustain change across a range of public health issues including Food and Nutrition, Health Systems Strengthening, Injury Prevention, and Saving Lives from Tobacco Use.

Saving Lives from Tobacco Use

GHAI’s parent organization, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, is the leading advocacy organization dedicated to reducing tobacco use in the United States and around the world.

Through strategic communications and policy advocacy campaigns, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids works to change public attitudes about tobacco and promote proven policies that are most effective at reducing tobacco use and saving the most lives.
