Ela is the Program Associate for the Food and Nutrition Programs at GHAI. She works across the Food Policy and Cardiovascular Health Programs. In this role, she provides operational support through various organizational and research projects, as well as coordination of meetings and events for the programs. Prior to joining GHAI, she interned for the World Resources Institute’s Center for Sustainable Cities focusing on sustainable urban development, and USA for UNFPA focusing on sexual and reproductive health. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Maryland.
