William Kidega

William Kidega is the In-Country Coordinator for our Data for Health Program in Uganda. He has several years of work experience in the health sector. William has held different leadership portfolios for several international and national organizations including among others; Associate Director of regional Partnerships for IAVI Africa, Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID/ PATH Advocacy for Better Health Project; Knowledge Manager for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Uganda; Head of the Country and Regional Programs for UVRI-IAVI HIV Vaccine Program; and Planning,  Monitoring and Evaluation Team Lead for the HIV/AIDS Program of the Uganda Episcopal Conference. He has also offered consultancy services to Stop TB Partnership (hosted by UNOPS) to implement their Step Up for TB program. William holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Management, and is very passionate about health systems strengthening.
