Risper Chebet is a health systems leader with over 15 years of experience advancing immunization advocacy, vaccine stockout prevention and health governance across Africa. As Africa Regional Coordinator for the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), she leads a Gavi-supported Vaccine Stockout Advocacy Campaign in Kenya and nine other countries, driving regional policy influence, civil society engagement and accountability for resilient vaccine supply chains and sustainable immunization financing. She has mobilized over $10 million in health financing, established health facilities to expand immunization access, championed refugee and marginalized populations’ right to vaccines and influenced national primary health care reforms in Kenya. Recognized for her expertise in vaccine stockout prevention and multi-stakeholder collaboration, she has a proven ability to translate community voices into policy action that strengthens equity-driven immunization systems.
