Rhia Muhi

Rhia Muhi is the Southeast Asia Regional Adviser for the Food and Nutrition program. Prior to this role, she was  the in-country coordinator for the tobacco control and road safety programs. Rhia's experience includes working as a senior court attorney in the Philippine Supreme Court under the tutelage of then Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes P.A. Sereno. She was also a development worker for almost two decades and has worked with different non-government organizations on social justice issues involving indigenous peoples' rights, environmental law and humanitarian law through legal research, policy advocacy, community servicing and movement-building. Rhia earned her juris doctor at the University of the Philippines College of Law and pursued her master of laws at the Queen Mary University of London as a British Chevening Scholar.
