Country Coordinator, Ivory Coast
Claude Konan serves as Côte d’Ivoire’s In-Country Coordinator for the Global Health Advocacy Incubator’s (GHAI) Immunization Program. Claude is a Medical Doctor and Health Economist with over 20 years of experience as a freelance consultant and expert in strengthening public health systems and community health. Skilled in strategic and operational planning, monitoring and evaluation of health and development programs, capacity building for stakeholders, and auditing.
Claude has led numerous national and international assignments across more than 20 countries in Africa and Haiti, focusing on health system strengthening and improving access to essential services in maternal and child health, immunization, malaria, HIV/AIDS and human resources for health.
Claude has collaborated with various technical partners and donors, including the Global Fund, UNFPA, European Union, USAID, French Development Agency, UNICEF, Gavi, WHO, UNAIDS, UNOPS, the World Bank, Roll Back Malaria and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).
