Dr. Christine Harmelle Ename is the in-country coordinator for the Immunization and Data for Health in Cameroon. She is an Senior Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in health systems strengthening in Africa. She has worked extensively with the World Bank and the Cameroonian Ministry of Public Health, leading the Expanded Immunization Programme and initiatives in pandemic response. Harmelle has also led or contributed to high policy dialogue, policy development, project identification, preparation, implementation and supervision in Health Financing. Her expertise encompasses maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health and nutrition, with a proven track record of fostering partnerships with UN agencies, Gavi, and civil society to achieve large-scale health interventions. She is also a certified trainer of trainers in reproductive health programme management including immunization and nutrition. Harmelle holds a Doctorate in Medicine, and a Master's degree in Health policy and management with a concentration in Health financing from CERDI (France).
