Adeolu Adebiyi is the Regional Senior Advisor for the Food Policy Program in Africa. In this role, he oversees and coordinates the Advocacy Fund portfolio across the region. Adeolu has a wealth of experience in advocacy campaign development and implementation, grants and program management, capacity building,  and policy development. He has worked on a wide range of issues relating to communicable and non-communicable diseases. Prior to joining GHAI, he helped establish the National Harm Reduction Program within the Nigerian Ministry of Health, developed national guidelines and provided technical support on behalf of WHO in Nigeria, and facilitated the establishment of the West Africa CSO Network on Drug Policy which is now active in 15 Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) countries. He served on the Johns Hopkins-Lancet Commission on Drug Policy and Public Health, West Africa Commission on Drugs and has managed several projects funded by the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, TB & Malaria, USAID, World Bank and private foundations.
