Sarwar E. Alam is Communications Manager for the Drowning Prevention program in Bangladesh. Sarwar is a seasoned advocacy communications professional with 20 years of experience working with international development organizations. He has helped program participants, partners, stakeholders, donors, and policy makers understand development issues and make informed decisions. For the past ten years, he has managed advocacy and communications interventions for leading national and international humanitarian and development organizations including World Vision, CBM International, Marie Stopes Bangladesh, IPPF-FPAB, RDRS Bangladesh and CARE Bangladesh. He has extensive experience developing and implementing advocacy communications strategies using diverse communication tools, platforms and events to help shape policy.
