Paola Sanchez is the Ecuador in-country coordinator for the Road Safety program. She provides strategic guidance to various civil society groups to inform and implement the Road Safety program in Ecuador. She is a human rights and gender activist with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Law and Human rights. She has more than 8 years of experience working in the health sector both in the public sector as well as the private (NGO) sector. Paola has worked in the promotion of sexual and reproductive health, HIV/Aids prevention, migration and human mobility and in the promotion of the rights of the most vulnerable groups from society. Before joining the Global Health Advocacy Incubator team, Paola worked as an advocate in HIV/AIDS prevention in Ecuador at a non-governmental organization and she was also previously the Coordinator of a Regional Platform composed of Community HIV/AIDS Organizations (the Platform of the Americas and the Caribbean of Coalition PLUS). She speaks Spanish (native language), English and French.
