Dr. Om Prakash Bera is the Regional Advisor, Asia for Non Communicable Diseases and Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (Data for Health) Programs at Global Health Advocacy Incubator. He works closely with a diverse coalition of partners in the development and implementation of strategies primarily on aspects related to Non Communicable Diseases, Civil Registration and Vital Statistics, Tobacco Control and Primary Health Care.

Om is a public health expert and comes with rich advocacy, implementation, research and project management experience. He has worked with multiple regional governments and national government on range of public health issues including Non Communicable Diseases, Tuberculosis, Tobacco Control, Epidemic Management, Big Data Disease Analytics and Nutrition and has contributed to published articles, country guidelines and chapters in international, national scientific journals.

In the past, he has led country portfolios for grants from Global Fund, USAID, Gates Foundation Bloomberg Philanthropies and Nordic Foundations.
