Our Team

Kara Dunford is the associate director of communications for the cardiovascular health program. In this role, she leads efforts to support the strategic communications work of in-country partners advocating for policy change. Prior to joining the team, Kara worked in nonprofit, government, and political communications. She has broad experience in campaigning, content creation and measurement and evaluation. Kara has completed Master’s degrees at George Washington University and the London School of Economics.
